Jshovel helps operators of loaders, excavators, and shovels to optimize production by increasing shovel through-put and enabling real-time truck payload. Jshovel automatically tracks and logs its current activity, position, and status using automated cycle logic, meaning no data is ever lost.
Jshovel records all production onboard and in the office in real time. It records waiting and loading activities, (minimizing intervention from the operator) and all production data for each loaded truck, including truck ID, operator, material, and weight.
A GPS receiver and wireless communication infrastructure ensure the location of the vehicle is always known. This is communicated back to a central server and to all other vehicles.
The GPS Navigation Tab provides a plan view of the shovel’s position and proximity awareness of other mine vehicles. It also provides road network information and location. A light dig plan drawing can even be loaded in the background. Operators enjoy more comprehensive information when digging.
Jshovel is integrated with the Jigsaw Operations Suite. The suite links fleet management and optimization, high-precision guidance, and autonomous control into a Universal Hardware and Software Platform (UHP) to deliver a total mine management solution.
