Hexagon inks five-year mine-planning deal with Ellatzite-Med
Product-integration key to a partnership agreement with Bulgarian company
Ellatzite-Med AD is one of the largest copper mining companies in Bulgaria, dealing mainly with extraction and processing of copper porphyry gold-bearing ores from Ellatzite open-pit mine located near the town of Etropole, 80 km east from the capital Sofia.
The HxGN MinePlan portfolio is built on technology proven in mines worldwide for almost 50 years. It comprises solutions for exploration, geology, engineering, planning and production. Product integration is important to Ellatzite-Med, said Selçuk Akinci, EMEA Senior Territory Manager for Hexagon’s Mining division.
